The Sunshiny Day

EYLF Outcome/s: 1.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.3, 4.4, 5.2, 5.5

Ivy and Iris are twins that love to dance, paint and play. Sometimes, when it rains, they watch television. But one sunny day, Ivy doesn’t want to play outside. Instead, she wants to watch television all day, and she misses out on playing in the beautiful sunshine with her mum and sister! Help Ivy understand that playing outside in the sun is more fun than watching television all day.

In this story, your child will discover the benefits of playing outside.

Welcome to our Arts and Crafts! At Schooling Online, we believe in learning through play. Our creative videos teach children how to paint, make, recycle and draw.

In these videos, we address key learning outcomes detailed in the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia. Our imaginative activites nurture children’s creative thinking skills, while also developing their fine and gross motor skills.

Children will experiment with constructing, taking apart and inventing different objects. They will learn how to safely use a range of materials and tools with confidence. We often use recycled materials in our projects, so children will learn to value the environment and its natural resources.

We provide a supportive space for children to learn through trial and error and explore their own ideas. They will start to communicate with others through artistic expression. They will also engage with creative symbols and patterns.

Welcome to Play and Learn! Our online games address key learning outcomes detailed in the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia. Children can engage in a variety of digital activities, including a memory game that trains early memory skills and a collection game that builds fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Our interactive games integrate technology into early learning and play experiences. As children play, they will use their sensory capabilities, including sight, sound and touch, with increasing coordination and skill. They will also strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Children will improve their digital literacy through play. They will learn how to manipulate technology with growing competence. Our exciting games encourage children to experiment and solve problems. This will involve exploring the purpose and function of a range of tools, media, sound and graphics. We also offer opportunities for shared learning, as children can play the games together.
